Slovak Tatras Trails: from 1100 PLN

Duration: 6–7 hours

This trip is best suited for people with at least good physical fitness and some mountain hiking experience. These are not typically technical trails (no chains on most routes), but they require endurance, proper footwear, and readiness for changing conditions.
 

  • Sivy Vrch: Moderate – steep and exposed sections, requires good fitness. 
  • Roháčske Lakes: Easy/Moderate – popular route with gentle incline, though rocky in places. 
  • Tatra Magistrala: Variable (moderate to difficult) – long-distance trail, difficulty depends on section.
  • Téryho Chata: Moderate – long and sometimes steep approach, no major technical challenges. 
  • Zbojnícka Chata: Moderate – similar to Téryho, can be more demanding in poor weather. 
  • Green Lake (Kežmarské pleso): Easy – wide, well-maintained trail. 
  • White Lakes: Moderate – less crowded, more demanding in navigation and endurance.
  • Kopské Sedlo: Moderate/Difficult – high-mountain terrain with elevation gain and exposure.

Slovak Tatras Peaks & Passes: from 1200 PLN

A challenge for ambitious hikers

Duration: 8-9 hours

For lovers of high-mountain routes, I offer tours through legendary sections with alpine terrain and breathtaking panoramas.
This option is designed for people with good fitness who want to test themselves on demanding, often exposed trails and experience an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Tatras.

  • Roháče: Difficult – steep ascents, exposure, chains in places. 
  • Slovak Eagle’s Path: Very difficult – long secured sections (chains, ladders), high exposure. 
  • Bystrá: Moderate – highest peak of the Western Tatras, long but technically easier. 
  • Kriváň: Moderate to difficult – steep and rocky final section. 
  • Rysy: Moderate to difficult – significant elevation gain, chains near the top 
  • Ice Pass (Lodová Priehyba): Difficult – exposed, high-mountain terrain. 
  • Rohatka: Difficult – steep, exposed, chains
  • Red Bench (Priečne sedlo): Very difficult – one of the hardest trails in the Slovak Tatras. 
  • Slavkovský štít: Moderate to difficult – very long and physically demanding. 
  • Jahňací štít: Moderate to difficult – exposed and technically harder final section.

Slovak Tatras Off-Trail: from 1600 PLN

Off- touristic trail tours (advanced level)

Duration: over 9 hours

These trips are intended for highly experienced hikers with excellent fitness and high-mountain experience. Moving in exposed terrain is required. The Slovak Tatra National Park (TANAP) allows such tours only with a licensed UIMLA guide.

Other useful info:

– Bring a rain jacket and warm top.
– Wear hiking shoes, preferably waterproof.
– Bring a rucksack with some water and snacks for the hike.
– A good level of fitness is recommended.
– In the mountain lodges you can pay only with cash.
– The guide can change the route or even make a decision to finish and return with clients if it is necessary.
